AuraClipy started with a simple observation: the script is usually finished long before the video is. Everything after writing — finding clips, cutting scenes, lining visuals up with narration — is slow, repetitive work that has very little to do with the idea itself.
Why we built AuraClipy
Most video tools start from the timeline. You open an empty project, import media, and assemble a video clip by clip. That model works for film editors, but it's a poor fit for creators who publish regularly from written scripts — educators, faceless YouTube channels, podcasters repurposing episodes, and marketers turning articles into video.
We built AuraClipy around the opposite starting point. You paste a script, choose how it should be split into scenes, configure your project settings and click Create Timeline. The timeline is generated for you, with stock footage matched to each scene. From there you refine: edit individual scenes, or let AuraClipy Enhance use AI to optimize scene search across the whole project.
Audio comes last, and that ordering matters. Once your timeline reflects the story you want to tell, you upload your voiceover and every scene re-times itself to the words actually spoken. The visuals follow the narration instead of the other way around, which is why synchronization stays accurate even in long recordings.
Long-form and short-form, from the same script
AuraClipy handles projects up to 30 minutes, so a full YouTube episode, tutorial or podcast video is as workable as a 30-second clip. The same script can also be exported vertically for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, which makes content repurposing a matter of changing the aspect ratio rather than rebuilding the edit.
Retention is where automatic scene splitting pays off most. Because every scene gets its own stock clip, the visuals keep changing at whatever pace you choose — and you can make them change as quickly as you like, so viewers stay engaged instead of watching a static shot run under your narration.
